Now aged 31 and with a MSc in Psychology he is recovered & working in mental health using his experiences to help others. I help to raise awareness of eating disorders in boys, point parents to helpful resources & talk about how eating disorders can traumatise families.

Walking unaided... hopefully...
As a result of my 'tough talking' the other night, Ben made an appointment to see Rob which is schedule for this morning. He is also seeing the university GP, hopefully for some meds and other solutions to help with the depression. Also, he went back to Sheffield yesterday, seemingly OK, and stayed there overnight. So watch this space for news...

You're seriously such an amazing mum. I feel for Ben having such a hard time (my entire degree was kind of a trauma for me, so I really empathise, but then I was far less recovered than Ben is when I started), but he is really lucky to have you. Fingers crossed his appointments go well!
